Xédra Cut XT from USN – Does It Work

Last updated on August 13th, 2015

Xedra Cut bottleXédra-Cut XT is a weight loss supplement manufactured in the UK by USN (Ultimate Sports Nutrition).

The company is probably better known for its range of sporting supplements, but USN also produces a number of weight loss formulations.

USN advertise this as an extreme energy booster because its main ingredients are well documented natural stimulants. Xédra-Cut is also known as Xedra-Cut, its accentless form.

rejected diet pillClaims: To supercharge the metabolism and burn excess fat rapidly

Positives: By a reputable company

Negatives: Very stimulant based, could cause side effects

What Is Xedra Cut XT and How Does It Work

Xédra-Cut XT is sold with two main promises attached.

  • Enhances performance
  • Extreme thermogenic

Promise no.1 hints the product may straddle the boundary between their weight loss range and their sports supplements. Promise no.2 suggests fat burning abilities.

Xédra-Cut XT has been around for a while now and USN has since added a few alternate blends including Xédra-Cut Stimulant Free and Xédra-Cut Ultra XT. Although the original blend can still be purchased from Amazon, eBay, and Holland & Barrett, USN no longer sell it via their website, so it could very well be that Xédra-Cut XT is a product that is on its way out.

Proposed Benefits

The blend contains a potent mix of stimulants that may prove more useful for powering sporting activities than assisting dieters who wish to power their way to weight loss success, but it also contains several ingredients that may provide the promised “thermogenic” effect and encourage fat burning.

Xédra-Cut XT Pros & Cons In Depth

  • Should boost energy levels
  • May assist weight loss
The Cons

  • Lack of inclusion rates
  • Contains lots of stimulants

  • May cause side effects
  • Limited availability

Usage Instructions

Two to three capsules should be consumed each morning (on an empty stomach) or half an hour before commencing a workout. The dose can be repeated six to eight hours later, but the second dose should be consumed with a small meal. Xédra-Cut XT users are advised to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water each day and the capsules should never be taken after 4pm.

After each five days of continuous use supplementation should be stopped for a couple of days, after which the capsules can be taken as normal for another five day period.

Ingredients

The Xédra-Cut XT formulation is actually a combination of three proprietary blends so, although some of the ingredients may have potential, it is hard to say how good the combination may be due to the lack of individual inclusion rates.

Thee capsules contain:

M-phR™ Multi Phase Proprietary Blend (670.2mg)

  • Evodia Rutaecarpa (10% Evodiamine)
  • Carraluma Fimbriata (30% extract)
  • Capsicum (Cayenne) 200:1
  • Citrus Aurantium (30% Synephrine)
  • Fucoxanthin (10% extract)
  • L-Tyrosine
  • Iodotyrosine
  • Diiodotyrosine
  • Banaba (1% extract)

Carraluma Fimbriata is an appetite suppressing ingredient. Evodiamine and synephrine are often included in weight loss blends due to their believed thermogenic qualities, but capsicum is the only tested and proven fat burner in the mix.

USN- XT™ Proprietary Blend      (535mg)

  • Natural Caffeine
  • Green Tea extract (43% EGCG)
  • Yerba Mate (25% Xanthins)
  • Glucuronolactone
  • Naringin.

The stimulatory effects of caffeine should help provide the promised enhanced performance and the blend offers an extra caffeine kick via yerba mate.  The mix may kick a little too hard for some users though because the blend also contains naringin (known to increase the effects of caffeine).

Green tea adds a further dose of caffeine, but it is a worthwhile inclusion because it has an enviable reputation for encouraging fat-burning.

Bioperine® (5mg)

Bioperine is a patent-protected black pepper extract. Black pepper contains an alkaloid, called piperine—tested and proven to encourage fat burning.

Customer Feedback

The USN website showcases a few reviews and customers appear to be happy to recommend Xédra-Cut XT.

[plain]“My hunger pains are gone and so is the between meal snacking and weight! This is truly awesome!”[/plain]

[plain]”Since taking this i have felt much more alert and full of energy. My appetite has suppressed im feeling really healthy. I would recommend this to anyone.”[/plain]

Independent feedback would be more meaningful, but none could be found. Searching online for Xédra-Cut XT reviews only turns up results for the various XT variant blends (stimulant free, Ultra XT, etc.).

Side Effects & Health Issues

Xédra-Cut XT contains high amounts of caffeine, made more potent still by the presence of naringin, so it is possible the blend may cause some users to experience the jitters. Other side effects attributable to caffeine may include headaches, nausea, restlessness and heart palpitations.

The presence of synephrine is also an issue because higher doses have been linked to side effects including high blood pressure and heart problems. Low doses are usually not a problem, but the inclusion rate here is unknown.

Pregnant and nursing mothers should consult a doctor before use. The same advice is offered to anyone who has existing or suspected medical issues.

Recommended Fat Burner

PhenQ what does it doWe would recommend PhenQ over Xedra Cut. In our opinion there is are very commercial fat burners on the market that can rival its success rate.

PhenQ is combination of pharmacy grade and natural ingredients and is now available to buy without prescription.
