Key Ingredients & Blend Potential

Each capsule provides an unspecified amount of Redusure. There are no other active ingredients.

Redusure is a proprietary blend manufactured by the InQpharm pharmaceutical company. They describe the compound as a “highly purified proprietary complex of high-swelling capacity dietary fibres” and say it can swell to up to 200 times its original size when exposed to a sufficient quantity of water (or other liquid).

InQpharm state their formulation has a clinically proven ability to be “effective in promoting satiety for weight loss by reducing food intake”.

This sounds quite impressive, but they do not provide any links to supporting evidence. However, the main ingredient in Redusure is glucomannan and its abilities (pertaining to weight loss) can be supported by a goodly amount of clinical evidence.

glucomannan appetite suppressantGlucomannan is a natural plant fibre taken from the roots of the konjac plant. Glucomannan has the ability to soak up an amazing amount of liquid and it expands considerably as it does so. When this expansion occurs within the stomach it creates a feeling of satiety and this results in appetite suppression.

The appetite suppressing abilities of glucomannan have been proven by a number of scientific studies and , in 2010, the European Food Safety Authority examined the data from a number of these studies and confirmed the data was sufficient to support a “cause and effect relationship” between glucomannan and body weight reduction.

However it must be remembered that, although glucomannan may have the potential to support weight loss, Redusure may not share the ability, although it does seem likely it will.

[info]Usage Instructions  – Capsules should always be taken with a full glass of water and two capsules are required before each of the three main meals of the day (typically breakfast, lunch, and dinner). XLS Medical also suggest drinking at least two litres of liquid throughout the course of the day. They also point out the capsules are not designed to be used as a meal replacement.[/info]

XLS Medical Specialist Appetite Reducer Customer Feedback

At the time of this review we were only able to find three online comments. One from a customer who states he used the product for 10 days but failed to notice any change, and two from customers who had a better experience.

One of them says the capsules are “brilliant”, the other says “I feel full and I don’t need to eat as much.” Unfortunately three reviews is an insufficient number to provide an accurate indication of the product’s potential.

Side Effects, Health Issues & Supplementary Information

XLS Medical claim the product is not known to cause side effects, but users are warned not to open up the capsule and attempt to use it as a powder—capsules must be swallowed whole or choking could occur.

Constipation could also become an issue if the capsules are not consumed with sufficient water and/or the daily intake of liquids is limited. XLS Medical also say their Appetite Reducer is not a suitable option for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding a child, people whose BMI is less than 18.5, or for anyone who is under 12 years of age.

Guarantee

XLS Medical Specialist Appetite Reducer does not appear to be backed by a money back guarantee (at time of review)

Alternative and Recommended Products

Buy PhenQWe have mentioned at the start of this review that although we wouldn’t stop anyone who is intent on purchasing XLS Specialist we recommend taking a close look at PhenQ. PhenQ is a multi action diet tablet that can offers users man benefits.

Appetite suppressing alone is not as effective as other mechanisms such as fat burning and fat blocking – PhenQ offers all three methods.
