There are media report surfacing that a new weight loss method is to be introduced to the commercial market place – the futuristic sounding Aqualyx.

Aqualyx is the £250 a time water soluble fat busting injection that is supposed to be able to dissolve fat cells naturally so that they naturally drip out of your body.

The injections comprise of ingredients derived from plant polymers that are said to bind with the tissue that lines fat cell walls. The plant polymer then ruptures dissolving the fat which then passes naturally out of the body when you urinate.

Aqualyx is injected directly into any high fat area such as chin, neck, stomach, upper arms and legs and buttocks. It makers say that this is permanent solution and the fat cells do not grow back.

Aqualyx claims to be the only registered fat removal injection on the market

Aqualyx “isn’t an injection for weight loss”

It’s makers are keen to point out and underline that their injection is not primarily for weight loss but for body contouring. Customers will not lose weight, but their fatty areas will be significantly reduced.

The injections cost £250 per session and if customers want several areas worked on then the costs can accumulate quite quickly. Smaller areas such as the chine should only take one session but larger areas with a higher fat content may take several sessions.

Is Aqualyx safe – are there any side effects

The manufacturers say that it’s customers should not experience any side effects or major discomfort other than slight bruising and swelling for two days maximum.

However some other medical professional are not as confident with regard to its safety and long term potential problems. Dr Yannis Alexandrides a London based Harley Street doctor said: “I don’t use fat removal injectable in my clinic and certainly have no plans to until there is further research and trials published.”

Dr Yannis went on say “its imperative that prospective patients do their research on treatments before they book. These fat zapping injection are a new addition to the marketplace with little to no evidence of their efficacy (independent) other than that produced by the products makers..”

Where To Get Aqualyx Injections

Available fron independent private clinics UK-wide.

Our Say – Is it worth the money and the risk

The jury is very much OUT. Until we can see real testimonials from successful procedures we cannot recommend. Additionally the long term ramifications are unknown.

It is a very expensive weight loss solution – it is almost 10 times the cost of some of the premium fat burner supplements in circulation.

Our Weight Loss Recommendation

If you are serious about losing weight and do not wish to jeopardise your health then PhenQ is highly recommended. Using thermogenics to burn excess calories and body fat, PhenQ is arguably the most popular non prescription diet pill in circulation.

  1. I had two injections of aqualyx this year for a double chin. It has left me with huge track marks running down my neck that are permenant and sagging skin below me neck. Please don’t use this stuff as you will regret it . I will need to have plastic surgery to correct the damage.

    • hi cath could you advise where you got the treatment and how many times? Also do you have a picture of the results?

    • I had one session of aqualyx to my legs April 2015 and one of my leg has a huge swelling and pain until now January 2016 and my doctor says that it will be cure !!!! 2. I had this treatment done on my thighs. I had no side effects other than the bruising mentioned which was gone in about 4 days. It takes 3 months to see the final result and it was GREAT! Completedly removed the pockets on the outside of my thighs.

By winter when I started wearing winter pants I noted that they were all to large. I had to have several pair altered. At first I thought something must be wrong with me since I weigh the same as when I had the Aqualyx treatment, but now all my pants don’t fit anymore. I had forgotten that I had that treatment, and that is the reason for a reduction of one size in my long pants! I plan to have a second treatment soon, this time on my abdomen.

  3. I want to know how many treatments do you have untill the results came for big and small areas ; I just had my second aqualix for double chinn, after the first my chin got gigantic for 2 weeks, the doc said it was normal and did no treatment to pull the water out , I noticed on pictures after 4 weeks that I had more loose skin but wrinkling but doc said it could not be the cause of the aqualix wich expended my skin, what i think myself – i did a second after 5 weeks and started cooling right after for a few days and my chin did not swell so bad this time , someone told me not to eat fat or sugar and drink more water and massage the chin wich doc should have told me , anyway, I did not know either the results are after 3 monts so maybe now I waith , little info is told me so i am looking for info

  4. possibly the biggest mistake i have ever made!, a year later and instead of going down i have gone up!. I look disfurged and everything is too tight!. Do not get these injections!,it’s a disgrace that they are advertising them distroying people’s bodies!.

  5. I’d like to know where you had your treatment. I would also like to have this done to my thighs. Did you do any other part of the thigh?
